Coffee is enjoyed by people everywhere, and this universal favorite is prepared in thousands of unique and delicious ways around the world. Take a trip with us today as we share some of our favorite caffeinated creations from across the globe—from Italy to Ireland and Morocco to Mexico.

#1 Cafecito

Cafecito is a type of espresso drink that originated in Cuba and is extremely popular in Florida, where our North American headquarters are located. If you can’t find Cuban coffee near you, try this Cafecito recipe. Monin Brown Sugar Syrup is whipped with espresso to produce a sweet, frothy foam that sits atop the drink. Have you ever had café de olla? The name roughly translates to “pot coffee,” as this traditional Mexican beverage was historically prepared in a clay or enamel pot. The main ingredients are coffee, cinnamon, and piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar). Some recipes may include ingredients like anise and cloves.
