Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted​
  • 2 cups all purpose flour​
  • 2 cups granulated sugar​
  • 4 tsp. baking powder​
  • 1/2 tsp. salt​
  • 1 1/2 cups milk​
  • 3 (15 oz) cans peaches, drained by half​
  • 3/4 cup Monin Black Sugar Syrup

Glass Size: 10-12 servings.

Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and add the melted butter to a large casserole dish.​​
      2. Combine all the dry ingredients for the topping in mixing bowl and whisk until well combined.​
      3. Add in the milk and whisk until just combined and pour it into the casserole dish over the melted butter.​​
      4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients and mix lightly until well combined.​
      5. Pour the filling over the batter and bake until the batter has risen to the top and is firm to the touch and golden brown (about 45 minutes).​
      6. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes before serving.​
      7. Garnish with the Southern Spiced Brown Sugar Ice Cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.​
