Lavender Lemon Blueberry Compote

      In a small sauce-pot set over medium heat combine the blueberries, sugar, water and salt. Simmer blueberries until they begin to thicken, about 15 minutes or until the berries burst and the juice coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, then add the syrup and mix until well combined. Place into a container, cover tightly and refrigerate until use.
