Hot Honey Corn Bread
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Monin Hot Honey Syrup
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups fine ground corn meal
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage

Glass Size: 1 (9-inch) skillet.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and place 9-inch cast iron skillet inside to preheat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until homogenous.
- Remove cast iron skillet from oven and thoroughly spray with cooking oil.
- Pour batter into the hot skillet and spread evenly, then place back into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is a dark golden brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
