Festive Cake Pops

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) box white cake mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup white frosting
  • 3/4 cup Monin Cookie Butter® Syrup

Glass Size: 20-25 cake pops.

Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prep a 9-inch cake pan by liberally spraying with oil.​​
      2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, butter, and eggs and mix until well combined.
      3. Evenly spread the cake batter in the prepped cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick can be inserted in the middle and come out clean.
      4. Remove the cake from the oven and allow to completely cool, about 2 hours.​​
      5. Once cooled, completely crumble cake using your hands until a sand-like texture is reached.​
      6. Add in the frosting and syrup and fold until completely incorporated.
      7. Transfer the mixture to the freezer and allow to chill for 30 minutes.​​
      8. Once chilled, remove from freezer and portion into desired sized balls on a parchment lined sheet pan.​
      9. Transfer the sheet pan to the freezer to chill for an additional 30 minutes.
      10. Shape the balls by rolling them in between your hands until a perfectly round ball is reached.
      11. Add sticks to each ball and decorate as desired with melted chocolate and sprinkles and store in the refrigerator.
