Mushroom Miso Ramen Broth
Ingredients:
- 1 shallot, rough chopped
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, rough chopped
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 ½ Tbsp. (3 pumps) TruFlavour Mushroom By Monin
- 3 Tbsp. miso
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
Instructions:
- In a stockpot over medium heat, add the sesame oil and shallots and cook until the shallots are translucent.
- Add the garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, and miso and cook for 30 seconds. Deglaze the pan with the chicken stock, then add the remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then pour the broth through a fine mesh sieve.
- Serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.
