Mushroom Miso Ramen Broth

Ingredients:

  • 1 shallot, rough chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, rough chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. (3 pumps) TruFlavour Mushroom By Monin
  • 3 Tbsp. miso
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper

Instructions:

    1. In a stockpot over medium heat, add the sesame oil and shallots and cook until the shallots are translucent.
    2. Add the garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, and miso and cook for 30 seconds. Deglaze the pan with the chicken stock, then add the remaining ingredients.
    3. Simmer for 10 minutes, then pour the broth through a fine mesh sieve.
    4. Serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.
