We at Monin strive to continuously stay on the cutting edge of food and beverage trends. Much of our time, effort and resources are focused on new product development throughout the year. As a member of the innovation team here at Monin, a large part of my role is to work with new products during development to ensure that they are high quality, unique, versatile and delicious of course. It’s pretty exciting to watch a flavor go from concept all the way through to the eventual production and bottling process. While some flavors can take years to get them just right, every once in a while a flavor comes along that we know right away is sure to be a hit. Monin Yuzu Fruit Purée was definitely one that the entire team could agree on and it quickly became an internal favorite. I’ve really enjoyed creating new recipes with it, including this simple vinaigrette recipe for use as a dressing or marinade.
