Maple Spice Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp. instant yeast
- 3/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup warm milk (85-95 degrees F)
- 1/2 cup Monin Maple Spice Syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Monin Maple Spice Syrup

Glass Size: 8-12 cinnamon rolls.
Instructions
- In the bowl of a standing mixer, combine the flour and the salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the yeast and the milk and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, combine the remaining ingredients into the stand mixer, attach the dough hook and allow to mix for 8-10 minutes on low speed or until a very smooth texture is reached.
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap, allowing to rise for 90 minutes.
- In a separate bowl combine the cinnamon and sugar until well combined.
- Transfer the dough to a work surface and spread out into a large rectangle then evenly spread the melted butter over the whole rectangle.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar all over the buttered dough and then tightly roll the dough up into a log, cutting it into the desired thickness of cinnamon rolls.
- Transfer the cinnamon rolls to your desired baking vessel, leaving 1 1/2 – 2 inches of space in between each roll.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and allow the cinnamon rolls to proof at room temperature for an hour to an hour and a half, or until increased in size by 50%.
- Once proofed, bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and remove from oven.
- While the cinnamon rolls cool, combine both the cream cheese and syrup into a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds and then mix until thoroughly combined.
- Drizzle the warm glaze over the cinnamon rolls and serve.
