Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Hot Honey
Ingredients
- 1 cup Monin Monin Honey Organic Sweetener
- 1 Tbsp. crushed red chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt 3 lb. brussels sprouts

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500° F.
- In a saucepan, combine the honey sweetener, crushed chili flake, apple cider vinegar and salt and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture has reached 135° F.
- Remove from the heat and carefully strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, then allow to cool to room temperature.
- While the honey is cooling, prep the brussels sprouts by trimming the bottoms and removing the outer leaves. Slice them in half, toss them in a bowl with the oil and season to taste with salt.
- Place the prepped brussels sprouts on a sheet pan in a single layer and roast in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes, or until they have browned and are slightly tender.
- Once cooked, remove the brussels sprouts from the oven and toss with the hot honey. Serve immediately.
